    According to the event planner for MK it seems there are no parades planned throughout August and September 2024, why is this? For as long as I can recall there has always been an afternoon parade which was only ever cancelled in the event of poor weather.

    Thanks for sending your question about live entertainment in Magic Kingdom Park. My family loves watching parades here, and I'd be delighted to discuss them with you today.

    Currently, times for Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade and Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade are available through August 3. I don't have any reason to believe these won't be performed after that date, so continue checking the park hours calendar as your holiday approaches and entertainment schedules are updated. Once you arrive at Walt Disney World, you can view parade times on the My Disney Experience mobile app and your in-room television. You can also ask Hey Disney! (your Disney Resort room's newest digital assistant) about parade times.

    Sharon, sometimes Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is not shown on days when Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party occurs in the evening. Check the event page for dates when Magic Kingdom Park closes early in August and September, and entertainment might be limited. My family often visits this time of year, and we avoid Magic Kingdom Park on party days. If you're a fan of parades, Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade is fantastic and my favorite part of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Tickets are still available for all August parties!
