Greetings Katherine!
I'm so excited that you'll be sailing on the Disney Fantasy. Your 4-night Bahamian itinerary is going to be so much fun with two stops at
Castaway Cay. What I wouldn't give to spend a day warm on the sand of Disney’s private island!
Since you are sailing on the
Disney Fantasy on October 2, 2021 to The Bahamas, I want to make sure you are aware of the current rules for this itinerary. For sailings to The Bahamas beginning September 3, 2021 until November 1, 2021, The Bahamas will require that all passengers ages 12 and older be fully vaccinated in order for a ship to be allowed entry into any of its cruise ports, including private islands like Disney Castaway Cay. Disney Cruise Line has all of this outlined very clearly in the
Know Before You Go information online.
If a Guest in your travel party is under the age of 12, then you will need to submit proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test to the Safe Passage portal prior to arrival. Make sure it is a PCR test because that is the only kind acceptable to Disney Cruise Line.
You will know in advance of your sailing if you have been cleared with Safe Passage, so make sure you follow all the steps. I would also suggest that you bring a copy of the negative test results to Check-In at Port Canaveral.Doing an online search, I found two testing sites that are close to Walt Disney World property. Both are operated by AdventHealth Centra Care:
AdventHealth Centra Care Orange Lake (Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge area)
8201 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy
Kissimmee, FL 34747
AdventHealth Centra Care Lake Buena Vista (Disney Springs area)
12500 South Apopka Vineland Road
Orlando, FL 32836
Online reservations are available on the AdventHealth Centra Care website. Appointments are not required, but they are suggested.
Katherine, I hope this helps and that you are able to get the testing done and submitted in the necessary time frame. Here’s to an amazing voyage in The Bahamas and a MAGICal vacation for you and your crew.
Bon Voyage!
Sherry
