I am accompanying my daughter and son-in-law on my granddaughter's first trip to WDW. We've got the resort narrowed down to the Little Mermaid rooms at Art of Animation or the Royal Princess rooms at Port Orleans Riverside. Any suggestions?

    Hi Monica,

I think both are excellent choices!  Your grand-daughter is going to feel like she stepped into a fairytale in either room.  I lean a little towards Port Orleans Riverside.  The rooms are a little bigger, transportation is a little easier, and there is a feeling of magic when you step into a guest room.

Although I think she'll love both resorts!

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
