accommodiations i am taking my grandson to disney for the first time he is 4 yrs old i want to stay at the all star sports resort i am wondering when i choose a perferred hotel room what are the rooms that are the preferred spot as i can get accomodatio

    Hi, Linda!

Preferred Rooms at All-Star Sports are located in the Surfs Up! buildings.  These are the buildings nearest Stadium Hall where the food court, front desk, gift shop, and bus stops are located.

Preferred Rooms cost more due to their proximity to the center of the action.  Standard Rooms are the exact same rooms, just a bit more of a walk from Stadium Hall.  If you don't mind walking a few extra minutes, a Standard Room is a nice way to save a few dollars.  I find Standard Rooms to be a bit quieter as they are not in the center of it all.

Whichever room type you choose, I hope you and your grandson have a magical vacation in Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
