accommodations are ready. Where to start the planning of the actual time spent at the park? We are all first timers and traveling with a 6 year old boy and 5 year old girl. Only planning on spending a couple days at Disney in September. How can I begin?

Hello Autumn!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom´s Panel.

Walt Disney World in September is hot, humid and maybe rainy, but the crowds and prices are at their lowest.

Magic Kingdom features attractions and shows for one, two, three ... full days!  This is the park to repeat before any other.

Though Epcot may look more adult oriented, it is a place my kids love visiting.  Days at Epcot can be very relaxing as you stroll around the world and enjoy unique experiences and attractions.  This is the Disney park with the best culinary experience.

Featuring an African design and dense vegetation, Animal Kingdom offers a unique safari experience and awesome attractions.  Walking through this park can also be very relaxing.  Make sure to go pet real farm animals at Rafiki´s Planet Watch.

With awesome thrill rides, live shows and possible the best nighttime show, Disney´s Hollywood Studios is a park full of excitement.

Arriving at park opening time is a big plus, as you will get to experience a calm environment, not to common at theme parks.
Using your own stroller is also really convenient and these may be carried into Disney buses, boats and monorail.

Make some Advance Dining Reservations.  Character meals are a really fun experience and there is at least one at each theme park.  If good dining is part of your family vacation, Signature meals are a big plus at Walt Disney World.

From all the special experiences, The Pirates League is my family´s favorite.  Interacting with Captain Jack crew is really funny and the makeup is outstanding.  For girls I recommend the Mermaid makeover.

Glad to help you plan a magical Disney vacation.
Hope to hear again from you.
