Are there accommodations made for visitors with autism?

    Hi Beverly! Welcome to planDisney.

Squirrel! Your pending arrival at Walt Disney World Resort makes this answer important for timing. The Disability Access Service (DAS) is designed precisely for individuals who have issues tolerating conventional wait times in attraction queues. This will offer a truly immersive magical visit. Let's cover a few of the program's highlights and registration.

As an eligible guest, you can pre-register online via video chat for this service up to 30 days in advance but no less than two days prior to your vacation. So if you are interested in pre-registering, today is your call to action. Protip, have your entire travel party linked to your "Family and Friends List" in the My Disney Experience Mobile App prior to your call. Also, the guest registering for DAS must be available to be interviewed. Once approved, your friendly Cast Member will assist you in selecting two one-hour return windows for select attractions per day at your theme park. If some reason you miss the opportunity to pre-register, do not fret. Once you enter the theme parks, stop by Guest Relations with the guest wanting to qualify for an in-person interview on-site.

Fun Fact once approved you will have the convenience of accessing DAS selections right from your My Disney Experience Mobile App. Tap on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner and a "DAS" icon will link you to experiences available to reserve. Bonus Tip, DAS works during special ticketed events like Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party should you have tickets.

    Keeping it Magical,
