Greetings, Amanda, and welcome to planDisney! It seems like you're looking for a good place to rest for the night after a day of fun in the parks. Let's go over some options!
There are
three Disneyland Resort hotels to choose from that will fully immerse you in the Disney magic. Availability may depend on your travel dates, the number of Guests in your party, the number of nights you plan to stay, and your budget. At each hotel, you can expect comfortable accommodations, great pool areas, themed decor, convenient proximity to the
Downtown Disney District and the theme parks, and more. Here's how I'd describe each hotel if you need help determining the best option for you:
- Disneyland Hotel: This is a truly classic option that blends nostalgia with modern touches. In my opinion, the standout features are the fantastic pool area (with Monorail waterslides and a tropical vibe), as well as the distinctly Disney details in the room, like the light-up headboard and Mickey glove lamps.
- Pixar Place Hotel: Picture vibrant colors, whimsical artistry, and countless nods to Pixar films here. The rooftop deck is really unique. Aside from a pool, waterslide, and splash pad, this area also has a fun game courtyard, firepits, and amazing fireworks viewing.
- Grand Californian Hotel & Spa: With its inviting, tranquil atmosphere and premium accommodations, this hotel offers a sense of luxury. The lobby is truly majestic, the pool area is serene, and the theme parks are so close.
All three Disneyland Resort hotels also offer
exclusive activities for hotel Guests. The Front Desk can provide you with a printed schedule of events when you check in. I highly recommend the guided walking tours of the Disneyland Hotel and the Grand Californian Hotel. Keep in mind that some activities require reservations, so check with the Front Desk if anything catches your eye.
Since your trip is right around the corner, I suggest using the search tool
on the Disneyland Resort website to browse available options based on your vacation details. You can also check the
Offers & Discounts page to see if any savings opportunities may apply to you.
For additional options, check out the
Good Neighbor Hotels. These are Disney-approved quality hotels that are not far from the Disneyland Resort. There are dozens of hotels to choose from, and you can use the
search tool on the website to filter by distance, amenities, and room features.
Amanda, I hope this information is helpful as you decide where to stay. Have an amazing time visiting the Happiest Place on Earth. If you think of any other questions, please reach out – we're always happy to help here at planDisney!
Your pal,
Kriss
