I accidently deleted my confirmation email for my placeholder. How can I get this information?

Ahoy there, Nancy! Welcome aboard planDisney! Thanks for sailing our way with your question!

I'm sorry to hear that your placeholder seems to have fallen overboard! I sure hope it happened while doing something exhilarating like chasing down the Black Pearl or making a daring escape from Davy Jones!

What's that you say? You deleted it while daydreaming you were still aboard the ship at Cove Café

Well, I've been there and done that, too...one time when I came back from a Disney Cruise Line vacation, my email replies all signed-off with "SEA ya' real soon," and were as full of dad jokes as my answers tend to be.

In any case, my first suggestion would be to look in the "Trash" or "Recently Deleted" folders in your email - usually, anything you delete stays there for around 30 days, so you might get lucky and find a bit of treasure waiting for you there!

If you come up empty handed, I'd suggest reaching out to a Disney Cruise Line crew member by phone, since a phone call is necessary to use your placeholder anyway! Now, remember that summer 2023 itineraries just went on sale to all Guests, so you may experience long hold times when you call. Phone lines are open 8am -10pm Monday through Friday, and 9am - 8pm Saturday and Sunday (Eastern Time).

If you're looking to just get your information and not book your placeholder, you could also try  contacting the crew members by email and asking if your placeholder reservation email could be re-sent. If you take this course, you should know that email response times are taking longer as well, but it may be a more manageable wait than on the phone lines currently!

Oh! And don't forget, you have two years from the date you booked your placeholder to sail - so unless you're looking to sail immediately, you've got plenty of time to plan and select your next itinerary!

I hope that gives you a few headings to chart your course for your placeholder reservation information, Nancy! Thanks again for dropping me a line, and if you have any other questions as you continue planning, you know where to find me here at planDisney!

Until then, I wish you fair wind, following seas, and short hold times!
