Hey Howdy Hey Tammy and welcome to planDisney!
Looks like we have a minor mistake we need to correct to get you to the right Disney park! No worries as this should be super easy if you get this done in time so let's get to it.
Even though Walt Disney World and Disneyland are both Disney properties, they work on entirely different systems and need separate bookings. If you booked your trip to Walt Disney World you would have to cancel that trip in full. You can do that online through your
My Disney Experience account. Once logged on, scroll to your "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section. On the far right, you should see an option to "Change Reservation" or "Cancel Reservation". After you click on that link, follow the prompts to cancel your reservation. If neither option is available, you should see wording that gives you a phone number to call to cancel your reservation. If you are still having issues,
call Walt Disney World at (407) 939-1936 and have a Cast Member help you through this process.
Make sure to try and get this done as soon as you can, Walt Disney World has a
cancelation policy that if you cancel your vacation package 30 days or more from your date of arrival you should get a full refund. Anything within 30 days you will forfeit your $200.00 deposit.
After you have that part canceled, you should be able to go onto the
Disneyland site and book your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth in California.
You would be surprised how often this happens, so no worries and good luck making these changes. Let us know if you have any further questions!
Have a Magical Day,
Nick
