Hi there Rizza, and welcome to planDisney!
It's always so great to see fellow folks from the Philippines making their way to Walt Disney World Resort, especially with
Filipino stories and traditions being celebrated on the screen and familiar foods like lumpia and ube finding their way onto menus across the theme parks in a way that I could've never dreamt when I was a child trying to see myself represented at a place as important as this! I recently got married with the help and expertise of
Disney's Fairytale Weddings & Honeymoons and also wondered about the process of changing my surname, so I asked the Cast Members directly about it and hopefully you'll find the following helpful:
- Once you access your Account Settings, there are sections where you can edit your Account Info such as your password, contact details as well as a "Personal Information" section. Here I was able to update my last name, which reflected immediately in MyDisney account.
I hope you're able to get this sorted out by the time of your trip coming up in a few weeks, Rizza! Before you get here, be sure to check out the
Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month Foodie Guide by Disney Eats to see the kinds of Filipino flavors being featured in May; I'm personally interested in tasting how Pork Sisig with Noodles translates to multiple dining locations at the
Disney Resort Hotels and what Pork Adobo will be like over at
ABC Commissary in Disney's Hollywood Studios!
Wishing you all the best on your quest to update your name!
