TRON at Night; Magic Kingdom

    I accidentally selected one of my party members incorrectly before (successfully!) joining the Tron virtual queue this morning. Is it possible to have the party member changed in the system? The incorrect party will still be asleep as we are group 11.

    Good morning Rachel, it's great to have you here at planDisney!

    It sounds like you're off to a bright and early morning, and well done on snagging that spot in the Virtual Queue; based on my personal experiences and today's opening hours for Magic Kingdom Park, there's a very high chance that your boarding group has already been called so I'm hoping this reaches you as quickly as a Lightcycle launching past at full speed!

    • Since you're likely already in Magic Kingdom Park right now, your best bet at the current time would be to seek out the Guest Experience Team Cast Members who may be better equipped to assist you; though it may not necessarily be guaranteed, they've been sometimes helpful in the past with similar guest requests - especially if there was any issue with the My Disney Experience App. (You'll find them under distinctive blue umbrellas with matching outfits holding tablet devices; have your MagicBands or park admission media ready for them to scan.)  
    • When I'm in the the theme parks I spend a lot of time researching, observing and testing out the wait times for ride and attractions including TRON Lightcycle/Run and I often find that though there can be a bit of a grace period following the calling of each Boarding Group to allow guests to make their way over to Tomorrowland and up the ramps to the attraction queue, they may not always be able to accommodate latecomers and Cast Members have been observed to be quite strict about arriving in time so it's great that you're not sticking around to wait for this other party member to wake up!
    In the best case scenario, I'm hoping that you were able to successfully accomplish this and are currently celebrating your thrilling win over the Orange team - and perhaps looking at the high-speed photos or video taken of you during your ride! Be sure to drop by Frontierland today to see if you can spot Cast Members from across Walt Disney World Resort and their guests previewing Tiana's Bayou Adventure - I always like seeing the expressions on everyone's faces during the drop.
