A warm welcome from all of us at planDisney to you, Wesley. We're so glad you stopped by to ask us this question. It won't be much longer until you'll be walking down Main Street, U.S.A., so let's get to your question to make sure you're ready.
Hakuna matata, Wesley! It means no worries, and there are no worries about having the wrong name on a theme park ticket. In fact, names on tickets are most helpful when trying to keep several of them organized in the
Disneyland app. The name on a ticket does not have to match the person using the ticket. Instead, each person will scan their ticket at the entrance gate and their picture will be taken and attached to the ticket. The picture taken will be used to match each person to their ticket throughout the duration of your visit. I've done this plenty of times, where I accidentally entered my name on my husband's ticket and he had no issues using the ticket. If you feel more comfortable changing the name, you can reach out to a friendly Cast Member at the
phone line for Tickets for assistance.
It looks like your visit will be just in time to enjoy the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival just before it makes an exit on April 27, 2026. Keep an eye on
Disney Parks Blog for the Foodie Guide with all the delicious details on the eats and treats that will be offered. I always like to make a list of must-try items to help me strategically eat my way through the Festival Marketplaces. When I need a break, I like to head on over to
Soarin' Over California to enjoy gliding over the sweet smelling orange groves.
Well, Wesley, I hope the information I shared has been helpful. Please come back to visit us with any other questions you might have. Until then, here's wishing you a wonderful visit filled with as many Mickey-shaped snacks as your heart desires. Adventure is out there!
