I accidentally put my name on both tickets. Can I change some to my partners?

    Hiya, Madeline!

No worries! I’ve also linked duplicate or incorrect names to theme park tickets. For the most part, it should not matter if the name linked with a ticket isn’t the same as the name of the actual Guest using the ticket. In the end, the thing that ties a ticket to a specific Guest is the photograph taken of the ticket holder when the ticket is first activated at a theme park entrance.

Some park tickets may require special identification of a Guest, such as promotional tickets for members of the U.S. armed forces or Southern California Residents 3-Day, Weekday Tickets. Even in such cases, a photo ID is more to verify the eligibility of the Guest than to make sure it matches the name linked to the ticket. And the photo taken by the Cast Member will usually suffice for determining which ticket belongs to each Guest in your party.

Tony’s Tip: You can call the Tickets phone line to request an update to the names tied to tickets online. Another way to help keep the tickets straight for each Guest is to write down the correct name of each ticket holder on their respective ticket card that is printed out at the park entrance when the ticket is first activated. That might come in handy if you happen to split up your party to visit different parks in the afternoon when Park Hopping is allowed. Or if one Guest schedules a Lightning Lane return time for “it’s a small world” with Disney Genie+ at the same time the other Guest purchases a return time for the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance individual Lightning Lane. Then you will know which ticket to use for each Guest based on the ticket number printed on the cards and displayed within the Disneyland mobile app.

I hope you have a magical time, Madeline!
