I accidentally put child ticket with adult name in my account. Do I need to change that before going to the park?

Hey there, hi there, Corey! Welcome to planDisney. It sounds like have begun to plan a great getaway to Disneyland Resort this summer and I'd be happy to help you with this question.

I am happy to share that you should not have any issues arriving at and entering the park with the ticket and name mix-up. The names attached to the ticket are more for you, the Guest, to help differentiate your party of tickets. The tickets are not actually assigned to a Guest until they have been scanned at the park for the first time. At this time, a Cast Member at the gate will take a photo and that is what assigns the ticket to the person.

If you do want to fix the name on the tickets at any time, you will need to call in or chat with a Cast Member at Ticket Services and they will be able to change that for you.

June will be an exciting time in the parks as there are many exciting things happening this week that will be in full swing once you arrive. This week, character interactions will start to transition to the same experiences we loved before the park closures. This means there's a chance to hug your favorite mouse! Nighttime spectaculars are also returning this week with Disneyland Forever fireworks, Main Street Electrical Parade, and World of Color performances. Next month, Fantasmic! will return. You can even enjoy reserved viewing for these spectaculars by booking a dining package or dessert party for some of these performances.

Corey, we appreciate you stopping by with your question. We hope you'll stop by again with any other questions you have along the way. See you real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
