I accidentally purchased the wrong date for a 1 day ticket and now I can’t select the correct day we were planning to go as a family. Does this mean I need to purchase new 1 day tickets for that specific day?

    Hey there Evelyn,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! I'm happy to hear that you're planning a trip with your family to the Happiest Place on Earth, but sorry to hear you're having trouble with scheduling the date of your visit.

The 1-day theme park tickets follow a tier-based system based on the date. Lower-tier tickets have more blockout days during the year but are typically less expensive than higher-tier tickets. Different days throughout the year then require a minimum ticket tier level to visit. From my experience, the days that require a higher tier ticket tend to feel more crowded than days that have a lower ticket tier requirement.

If your travel dates are set but you accidentally purchased an incorrect theme park ticket, I would recommend calling a Cast Member at the Tickets line! They'll be able to look at the specific details of your situation and let you know your options, which may include the option to upgrade to the correct ticket tier level and pay the difference.

Thanks so much for your question, Evelyn! I hope you enjoy your trip to the Disneyland Resort.

    Have a Magical Day,
    Greg
