I accidentally purchased a ticket for July 27th. It was meant for July 20th how do I change that.

Hi there, Grahm! Welcome to planDisney!

Can you believe that you will FINALLY be off enjoying Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Celebration in just a few short days? You must be beyond excited! I know I would be, especially since there will be so much to enjoy during this extra special time. But, if you ask me, nothing tops the stunning Beacons of Magic at all four theme parks. You've never seen the theme park icons quite like this, transformed into a glimmering EARidescent rainbow of colors and magic. I'll tell you, the first time I saw them, they took my breath away!

It sounds like you need to adjust your tickets to a different date. Well, luckily, it’s super easy to do this through your My Disney Experience account. Just follow these simple steps:

    • Log into your My Disney Experience app.
    • Next, open the menu by clicking the three stacked lines in the bottom right corner, and select "Tickets and Passes."
    • Click on the ticket you currently have scheduled for July 27th.
    • Select "Change Ticket"
    • Use the calendar to select the new date and follow the prompts to complete the change.

Now, it is important to remember to secure your Theme Park Reservations for your new ticket date. As a reminder, a reservation is required for the first park you plan to visit each day. Then, if you've purchased the Park Hopper Option, you can hop over to another park after 2 p.m. each afternoon. If you had already secured a reservation for the 27th, you would need to cancel that one first and then secure another for your new date. To make your Park Pass Reservations, click on the “+” in the middle of the app navigation bar and click on “Make a Park Reservation.” From there, click on “Theme park Tickets,” and a separate browser window will open. You can then select the members of your party, the date of your visit, and the park you would like to reserve.

I do hope you have a wonderful time on your upcoming vacation! If you have any questions before you take off, or even once you have arrived, please don't hesitate to reach back out! We here at planDisney just love to help our fellow guests make the most of their Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

    See you real soon!
