I accidentally purchased lightening lane for the wrong park! Now I can’t purchase it for the park we are going to, what do I do?? I tried to purchase it again for the correct park and it says we don’t have a valid park admission.

Hello, Bethany, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you're getting ready for a day of magical fun at Walt Disney World Resort, so let's jump right in with some possible solutions to your Disney Genie+ Service issues.

I chatted with a friendly Cast Member named Chloe who said your best bet is to try the chat feature in your My Disney Experience mobile app. Tap the three lines in the lower right of your screen and choose the "Chat with Us" tile. Once the Cast Member has your account information, they can probably make the change for you. Genie+ Service is typically nonrefundable, but I'm crossing my fingers they can help you. You can also call the My Disney Experience line for assistance, but there currently isn't a way guests can make a change like that to their own account.

Another option is heading straight to a Guest Relations window at the theme park where you want to start your day. These are located near the entrance to each park, or look for Cast Members stationed under umbrellas if you're already inside a theme park. Like our blue Genie pal, you ain't never had a friend like them! They should be able to help you have a fabulous day choosing those Lightning Lane entries.

Bethany, I hope you can switch your Disney Genie+ Service to the correct park, but if not, I know you'll still have a spectacular day. You're at Disney! Please stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
