Hi, I accidentally purchased kids tickets instead of adult. How can I fix this, I did call Disney and spoke to Emily she said that it can only be done at the ticket booth. Is this correct? I’m worried that they won’t let me do this at the booth! Help.

Hi there, Cindy. Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for taking the time to stop by with your questions for us.

I’m delighted to see that your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. I’m guessing you’ve already made theme park reservation for a specific date for your visit when you purchased your tickets. Unfortunately, at this time, upgrades are unable to be handled online or over the phone. I suggest that you keep your current tickets as they are for now, since park reservations are limited. When you arrive at the Disneyland Resort Main Entrance, first thing you should do is head to one of the ticket booths to upgrade the children tickets to adult tickets by paying the difference. Simply explain the situation to a friendly Cast Member, who will gladly assist you, without you losing the park reservations you’ve already made.

I wish you a wonderful upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. If you have more questions with planning your vacation, please don’t hesitate to visit us on planDisney again. We’re all EARS!

    See ya real soon,

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
