Hi Courtney! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.
Mistakes do happen, and the good news is that you should be able to upgrade your wholly unused valid ticket to an adult ticket, applying the value of your existing ticket toward the purchase of a new one. I suggest doing this over the phone. You can also attempt the upgrade in person, but the Cast Member I spoke with today also thought in advance would be best. You'll want to call the
Tickets phone line.
Let the Cast Member know you have an existing
theme park reservation; hopefully, they can keep your theme park reservation when you upgrade. If not, you'll need to make a new theme park reservation. You'll have to pay the price difference, so have your method of payment and ticket ID number handy when you make the call. Prices are subject to change. While I'd love to quote the new price for you, the Cast Member I spoke with said you would have to discuss your options with a Cast Member directly.
If you have completed your upgrade transaction in advance of your trip, you'll have peace of mind that everything is ready to go. On popular days, theme park reservations can fill up, so I like to have everything in place as far out as possible. I'm sure you'd appreciate that too. I took a look for you, and at least for now, there is
availability in both parks. That could change, however!
If you're not able to upgrade over the phone before your visit, you can attempt to do so in person. If that's your only option, please visit the main ticket booths, where a Cast Member can attempt to make the upgrade for you. Be sure to mention your theme park reservation and have all your ticket information and payment with you.
I hope this helps!
Elizabeth
