Hi there, Kelly,
I understand. I’ve had a few mixups in the past when dealing with our Disneyland Resort theme park tickets too. Just recently, I inadvertently linked two first names to one ticket I purchased and two last names to another ticket. Fortunately, a Cast Member helped me sort it out.
If you happened to purchase theme park tickets to the
Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, unfortunately, those tickets would not be valid for use at the Disneyland Resort in California. Walt Disney World theme park tickets can only be linked to a visit to
The Most Magical Place on Earth using
My Disney Experience or the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Tickets to The Happiest Place on Earth on the west coast may only be
linked to an account on the Disneyland Resort website or the
Disneyland mobile app. I don’t know about you, but I’m currently planning upcoming visits to both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. So having some extra tickets wouldn’t hurt.
Whether visiting the Walt Disney World Resort or the Disneyland Resort, each theme park Guest must have both valid theme park admission and a
theme park reservation. If you have a park reservation at the Disneyland Resort and wish to switch which park you start at or the date of the reservation, you may visit the "
My Theme Park Reservations" page to cancel an existing reservation and book a new reservation with the same theme park ticket or pass.
When booking a park reservation for a
Park Hopper ticket, only a starting park is selected. Park Hopping is permitted after 11:00 AM at the Disneyland Resort and
after 2:00 PM at the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have a one-park-per-day ticket and wish to upgrade to a Park Hopper ticket at the Disneyland Resort, you may stop by a main entrance ticket booth, call the
Tickets phone line, or tap the “Chat with Us” tile found in the ☰ feature menu of the
Disneyland mobile app. Note that when upgrading to a new ticket, existing park reservations will automatically be canceled. So it’s a good idea to check the
theme park reservation availability calendar to make sure there are still reservations to book for the day and park you wish to visit.
Whether at The Most Magical Place on Earth or The Happiest Place on Earth, I hope you have a wonderful time at the Disney Parks, Kelly.
