I accidentally linked one of my tickets to the wrong person. How do I fix this? I tried what I found in frequently asked questions but i do not have the option to reassign the ticket.

    Greetings, Sarah!

Welcome to planDisney! Oh, bother..I am so sorry to hear that a ticket was assigned to the wrong Guest. It happens to the best of us during the excitement of planning a marvelous trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth. But Hakuna Matata, friend! This can be solved. I have also accidentally assigned a ticket to the wrong member of my Ohana, and I am happy to report it is an easy fix.

You have two options for assigning the ticket to the correct Guest. But before we go over the steps, be sure that each Guest (you, the Guest that has the ticket, and the Guest that the ticket will be assigned to) all have a My Disney Experience account. You will also need to link these accounts together before getting started. Okay, now that everyone is connected let's get that ticket to the proper Guest. You'll be back to planning the best trip ever in no time at all.

The first and easiest option would be for the Guest that currently has the ticket to reassign it to the Guest that should have the ticket. (Once you reassign a ticket to another member they will be the only one able to make changes.) The Guest can reassign it to the other party once they have connected their accounts by finding the ticket on the My Disney Experience website or app. It will be under the My Plans page of the website. Select the Tickets, Passes, & Memory Maker tab and find the ticket. Next to the ticket will be a Reassign drop-down option. When using the app, choose the Tickets and Passes tile. Find the ticket and select the Reassign option to proceed. The second option would be for the current Guest to reassign the ticket to you using the above steps You will then be able to assign the ticket to the Guest in your travel party using the same process.

Should for any reason you find that the current Guest is unable to assign the ticket to the correct person, I would encourage you to reach out to a friendly Cast Member with Disney Park Tickets by phone to receive further help with reassigning that ticket. You can call Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 8 PM. Saturday phone hours are 9 AM to 7 PM and Sunday calls are 10 AM to 4 PM.

I hope your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
    We'll see ya real soon!
