I accidentally linked my magicband + to my husbands name. I have a band for him as well but I would really like to have the one I bought for myself. Can I remove the center puck and trade bands?

Hey Howdy Hey Lacy and welcome to planDisney!

Thank you so much for stopping by with your question on MagicBand+. Sounds like a situation many of us might find ourselves in so not to worry, I've got you covered!

One of the best things about MagicBand+ is the flexibility of its usage. You are able to remove the puck in the middle and replace the band if you find yourself in the predicament you are currently in and things should still work 100% as they should. The other option that you have, is to call Disney at (407) 939-4357 and discuss your concerns with a Cast Member. Often times they will be able to handle this before you leave for your vacation. You can always stop at the front desk of your Disney Resorts Collection hotel and have the Cast Members there straighten them out as well. Either way, this is an easy fix so you can rock your Disney side with your MagicBand+ on your next trip!

I know you probably have already looked into various uses for your MagicBand+ but one thing I know I am super excited to try is becoming a Bounty Hunter in Star Wars: Galaxies Edge in Hollywood Studios. Become part of the story with your My Disney Experience app and MagicBand+ to scour this land for highly sought-after treasures throughout the land. Such a cool way to actually be a part of the story rather than just a passive observer!

I hope you are having a blast planning your upcoming trip. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out and let us know, we would be happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,
