    I accidentally linked my husband‘s band to my account before he linked it to his how do I deactivate it from my account

    Welcome to planDisney, Christina! I'm so excited to see that you're arriving for your vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort today! This summer is going to be full of magic with new shows and offerings and all the extras for Cool Kid Summer; I know you're going to have the best time!

    Christina, I'm such a fan of the MagicBand+ and the way it makes my vacation hands-free and a little extra magical! Unfortunately, once a MagicBand is linked to a guest's My Disney Experience account, it cannot be transferred to another guest. I know this is probably not the magical answer you had hoped for, but I can offer a few suggestions:

    • Reach out to a Cast Member at the My Disney Experience, MagicBand, and MagicBand+ phone number to see if they can offer any technical assistance. While this is not guaranteed, it doesn't hurt to ask for help!
    • If you'd like to purchase another MagicBand to link to your husband's account, you'll find a nice selection at most of the theme parks and at Disney Springs. Some of my favorite places to find inventory are the Emporium in Magic Kingdom Park and World of Disney in Disney Springs.
    • If you'd prefer not to purchase another band, you can request a complimentary Key to the World Card at your Disney Resort hotel front desk. This card has all the same features as the MagicBand, such as allowing you to tap into the theme parks, open your resort door, and link your PhotoPass photos to your account for viewing and downloading.
    • You can also use the Disney MagicMobile Service on your cellular device if you'd prefer not to purchase another MagicBand.
