Hi I accidentally bought children tickets instead of adult tickets for Disneyland from a third party. I was able to make my reservation, can I pay the difference the day of my reservation to get adults or how should I proceed?

Hello there, Catalina. Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for taking the time to stop by with your questions for us.

I’m delighted to see that your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth is "just around the river bend". I bet you’re excited and happily counting down the days before you get to stroll down Main Street, U.S.A.!

Since you’ve already made theme park reservations for a specific date, I suggest that you keep your current tickets as they are for now. When you arrive at the Disneyland Resort Main Entrance, first thing you should do is head to one of the ticket booths to upgrade the children tickets to adult tickets by paying the difference. Simply explain the situation to a friendly Cast Member, who will gladly assist you, without you losing the park reservations you’ve already made. Soon, you’ll be on your way to experience the Disney magic!

I wish you a wonderful upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. If you have more questions with planning your vacation, please don’t hesitate to visit us on planDisney again. We’re all EARS!

    See ya real soon,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
