I accidentally booked the wrong park, I booked California Adventure instead of Disneyland. What do I need to do?

    Hi Cynthia.

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Cynthia! Thanks for stopping in to see us at planDisney!

One helpful tip about the theme park reservations required to visit Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park is this: you can make theme park reservations and you can cancel theme park reservations, but you cannot modify theme park reservations.

If you have made a theme park reservation for one of the Disneyland Resort theme parks and you wish to make a change, you could cancel your existing theme park reservation through the "My Theme Park Reservations" features of your Disneyland Resort account, and then make a new theme park reservation based on reservation availability.

Before you cancel your existing theme park reservation to make a new one, it's always a good idea to first take a look at the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to see if there are reservations you can select for the theme park you want to visit on the day you want to visit.

One other option you might want to consider, Cynthia, is to upgrade your ticket type. If you have a One Park Per Day theme park ticket you could consider upgrading to a Park Hopper ticket. Park Hopper hours begin at 1 p.m. based on park capacity and availability. A Park Hopper ticket would allow you to visit both theme parks in the same day.

Cynthia, here's wishing you lots of Disney magic when you visit the Disneyland Resort!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
