I accidentally booked the wrong dates for Disneyland. How do I change the dates?

Hiya, Steven. Welcome to planDisney! It's so exciting to be planning a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth and I'm honored to help.

So you accidentally booked the wrong dates for your visit? To that I say, "Hakuna Matata!" It means no worries! You can easily cancel and rebook your reservations for the correct dates (subject to availability). Before doing anything, I strongly recommend checking the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to ensure your dates are available. After you've confirmed availability, you will log in to your Disney account at the Disneyland website and then navigate to "My Plans" which can be found underneath the heading "My Disneyland." Here you will find all of your theme park reservations. You'll click the box to "Manage Reservation," which will bring up a list of all your reservations along with links to "Cancel Reservation." You will need to cancel each individual reservation. After you've canceled all reservations, you can now go back to rebook reservations for your correct dates. Make sure to do this for each ticket and each day. To confirm everything is right, revisit "My Plans" where all new reservations will be listed. Now all that's left is to start a countdown to your magical visit!

On top of an especially magical year at the Disneyland Resort, spring will also be in full bloom during your visit. I particularly love this time of year at the parks because the pink flowers of the Tabebuia trees are in bloom and add an extra pop of color and beauty near Sleeping Beauty Castle. The Disney100 Celebration is also in full swing and you'll be able to enjoy all of the festivities, including two new nighttime spectaculars - Wondrous Journeys at Disneyland Park and World of Color - ONE at Disney California Adventure Park. Also across the way from Disneyland, you can find the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival - one of my favorite festivals. One thing is for certain, there will be no shortage of magical options for you during your visit!

Steven, I hope this was helpful. As you continue to plan your visit, please come back and visit us with any other questions. Here's to an upcoming magical stay!

    See ya real soon!
