Hi there, Harry! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm sorry to hear about your booking mix-up! I assure you that you're not the only person who has done this and I'm hopeful we can help you figure out what to do next. Since you're coming from overseas, I can see how this was an easy mistake to make. I also think the Cast Members at both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort will do their best to make your stay as magical as possible.
Though the
Walt Disney World Resort and
Disneyland Resort are both Disney Parks located in the United States, they operate completely independently of one another, making this a bit of a tricky situation. Since you purchased tickets to the Walt Disney World Resort, I'd start by contacting a Cast Member there to see if there is anything they can do. You can contact a Cast Member directly by calling
Existing Tickets. I'd recommend having your order number or confirmation number at the ready when you call, as it will likely speed up the process. Unfortunately, tickets to Walt Disney World are
nontransferable and nonrefundable, but I'll keep my ears crossed that an exception can be made in your case!
Harry, I do think you would have an absolutely magical vacation at either Disney resort location. Each has so much to offer Guests of all ages! Whichever one you do not end up visiting this time around, be sure to keep it in mind for the future!
Have a magical day,
Ashley
