Hey Nathan! Welcome to planDisney. We appreciate you stopping by with your ticket question.
Oh boy! I'm sorry to hear you had a mix-up with assigning two tickets to the same person. The good news is everything is okay! You can have this fixed, but you don't HAVE to. Assigning names to tickets in the app or website is more for the Guest to help keep track of the tickets. A ticket isn't officially assigned to anyone until you scan the ticket at the park entrance to enter for the first time. This is when a Cast Member will take a picture of you and this is what assigns the ticket to you for the remainder of its days/use.
If you want to get this name issue cleared up, you can call or chat with
Guest Services and they can do that on their end. Sometimes there may be a reassign button below the ticket in the Disneyland app in the Tickets and Passes section, but none of my tickets have this option currently. Since it's not super time-sensitive, I suggest using the chat feature in the
Disneyland app. To find this, open the Disneyland app and click on the three horizontal lines at the bottom right. On the menu page, you should see a "Chat with Us" option towards the bottom right. All you need to do is type something in the chat and it may ask you a series of questions to better assist you and then let you know that a Cast Member will help as soon as one is available. What is nice about this is you can then close the app and you should get a pop-up notification when the Cast Member is available to chat.
Once you get that fixed, just make sure everyone has a
theme park ticket reservation for the day and park you are wanting to enjoy and it sounds like you will be set!
Nathan, thanks again for stopping by planDisney. Be sure to reach out to us again if you have any other questions. See you real soon!
