Michael, unfortunately I don’t have great news for your MagicBand+ situation. Once a MagicBand+ is linked to a Guests My Disney Experience account, it is
non-transferable and you cannot reassign it to anyone else. It has a unique Guest profile that is tied to that particular Guest for security reasons. Now that it is connected to your wife, it is tied to her profile.
There is a
My Disney Experience, MagicBand, and MagicBand+ support phone number, but this is mostly for technical reasons. You could give them a try.
I know that you probably weren’t expecting to have to purchase a new MagicBand+ but think of it as a new fashion item to add to your wardrobe! There are so many great new designs, and they are easy to find online through your
My Disney Experience mobile app. Scroll down to “Magic Bands & Cards” and select that prompt. Scroll down to “Discover More with MagicBand+” and it will take you to a page where you will find a link to “Browse the Latest Online”. Hit the “Shop Now" button and there they are! The Haunted Mansion Wallpaper MagicBand+ is headed for my cart!
