Hello, Gloria and welcome to planDisney!
I am happy to hear that you are planning a visit to
Walt Disney World Resort, very soon!
Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets are non-refundable, but you can transfer an unused ticket to another person, or you can opt to use unused tickets toward a future visit and consider upgrading your tickets. I apologize for the lengthy waits on the telephone. I myself, as a Guest, have found that contacting support is very efficient via email when phone call waits are lengthy - you will find the email button to the far right of the
Help Center page, but also please keep calling. And if you must, then please visit any
Guest Relations ticket booth location at any Walt Disney World Resort theme park or a
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs for direct assistance when you arrive.
I am hopeful that you will receive the best possible solution for your predicament, Gloria, but while you are consulting with a Cast Member it may be helpful to know of any
Walt Disney World Resort theme park ticket upgrades and options, such as adding the
Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane Entrance service which will save you time waiting in lines for attractions that offer a Lightning Lane Entrance.
Gloria, once you resolve your theme park ticket situation, please proceed to
link your Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets to your Disney account and then make your
Disney Park Pass -
Theme Park Reservations as this is currently the system in place for visiting Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. If you have a
Park Hopper® Option on your theme park admission, you will be able to park hop from 2:00 PM or later after you have visited the first, reserved theme park of the day.
I hope you enjoy the many events and activities during your visit along with all the
EARidescent experiences throughout Walt Disney World Resort for the
50th Anniversary Celebration!
Best Disney Wishes ~ Jacqueline
