    When accessing extra magic hours while staying on property, what do you need to show when you have magic bands? Do they have to be scanned ever ride or show during magic hours or do you just show them like you would your KTTWC? Thank you in advance.

    Hello Kimberly!  Currently, only guests who are staying in Walt Disney World Resorts are utilizing the new Magic Bands.  Since Extra Magic Hours are for guests who are also staying at Walt Disney World Resorts, simply using your Magic Band for entry into the theme park is enough to identify that you are eligible.  For evening extra magic hours, again, showing your Magic Band to the Cast Member at attractions is enough.

    Kimberly, until the Magic Bands are out of the test phase, it is recommended that you also carry your Key To The World card with you just in case.  Also, I notice you are from Ontario, Canada. FYI - Magic Bands are currently only being shipped to U.S. and Puerto Rican addresses, so although you will be able to customize your Magic Bands prior to your visit, you will have to wait until check-in at your Walt Disney World resort to pick them up.  They will be waiting for you!
