How accessible are the water parks for those in a wheelchair ?

    Hi Susan!

I brought my mom to Walt Disney World and she required a wheelchair and ECV at all times. I was very pleased with the accessibility and accommodations.

There are paved pathways at both of the waterparks that are accessible at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. Many of the attractions are also accessible.

I  sggest reading this detailed information on accommodations for guests with disabilities at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park. This provides more information about accommodations for each of the attractions in the park. The Guests with Disabilities FAQ may also help answer any specific questions you have.

If needed, you can also rent a wheelchair at all of the Disney parks and water parks. Wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You can rent wheelchairs daily or purchase a length-of-stay option.

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
