The accessible room at Coronado Springs list a king + queen option. Is there enough room for a wheelchair to maneuver with 2 large beds in the room or are these rooms larger?

    Hi, Rachel!

I have never heard of this unusual combination of a queen and a king bed in a room, but I just gave a call to Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and they confirmed that this room type is listed as being available. It is a standard room size at 314 square feet and includes a roll-in shower.

As far as space goes, a king bed is about 16 inches wider than a queen bed, so you will lose some space. If you think you would prefer a 2 queen accessible room, or a 1 king accessible room, this would give you more space.

To make sure you are getting the exact room you want that will meet your needs, I suggest starting with a call to Disability Services at (407)560-2547. They can assist you in finding the perfect accessible room for your magical stay in Walt Disney World.

Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is currently under a refurbishment of the resort, including current guest rooms. This may make some room types and/or locations available with limited inventory, so book your vacation well in advance.

Please read through the information on Guests with Disabilities. I think it will be helpful to read about assistance that will be available throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.

I hope you find the perfect room for your stay at the beautiful Coronado Springs Resort!
