Ahoy there, Sharron!
I’m so happy to welcome you to planDisney, and I appreciate you stopping by with your question! It sounds like you’re planning a Disney Cruise Line adventure, which is such an exciting time. Before long, you’ll be stepping aboard and immersing yourself in incredible
entertainment, delicious
dining, and unforgettable moments at sea. There’s truly nothing quite like a Disney Cruise, where relaxation and adventure come together with that extra touch of Disney magic.
From my own experience as a wheelchair user, I can share that Disney Cruise Line does a wonderful job making their ships accessible for Guests of all abilities. In fact, it’s one of the easiest and most stress-free ways I’ve found to travel. If you require an accessible stateroom while onboard, you’ll be able to select that at the time of booking, which makes planning ahead that much easier. Each ship is thoughtfully designed, and the Cast Members are always happy to assist, helping ensure your vacation is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
A helpful place to start is the
Information for Guests with Disabilities or Medical Conditions booklet, which provides a thorough overview of the services and accommodations offered both on the ship and during port visits. I also suggest filling out the
Special Services Information Form online no later than 60 days before you sail. Once it’s submitted, the Disney Cruise Line Special Services team will review your request and reach out with tailored recommendations to best support your needs throughout your trip.
If you prefer a more direct approach, you can absolutely contact the
Disney Cruise Line Special Services team by phone or email. They’re wonderfully knowledgeable and always willing to talk through your plans to help make your experience as seamless and comfortable as possible.
Sharron, now for the exciting part…choosing the perfect ship and
itinerary for your adventure! Every vessel in the
Disney Cruise Line fleet is stunning, and no matter which one you pick, you’re in for an unforgettable experience. Thank you so much for stopping by, and if any other questions come up, we’d love to have you cruise back to planDisney anytime!
Seas the day,
Kami
