Hi, Peter! Thanks for bringing this great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
With their beautiful grounds, amazing restaurants, and unique theming, the
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels are almost like an attraction themselves. No matter where you are staying, you are always welcome to visit and explore the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. In fact, many guests set aside some time during their Walt Disney World Resort vacation to "resort hop." Although swimming pool access is restricted to guests staying at that particular resort hotel, any guest is welcome to come and take advantage of everything else the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels have to offer. Therefore, I don't see it being a problem for you to visit your daughter and babysit the little Mouseketeers during their stay at
Disney's Wilderness Lodge.
While you are watching your grandkids, stop by
Roaring Fork for a bite to eat. If the little ones are old enough to stay up for a while after dinner, there are plenty of fun activities that you can experience at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. As the sun sets, you can enjoy roasting marshmallows at the
campfire, followed by a
movie under the stars. You may even catch a glimpse of the
Electrical Water Pageant as it sails across the Seven Seas Lagoon. Be sure to consult the resort hotel's recreation calendar for details as to what activities are taking place on the specific day you will be visiting.
See ya real soon!
Samantha
