How do you access the Tahiti beach? The Polynesian map doesn't show a walkway to it. Looks like I walk through the grass- because the beach doesn't wrap around the end of the island? Thanks for your help! LOVE THIS PANEL!

    Hi Mary!

I'm so glad to see that you've come back to visit the Moms Panel again!
My fellow panelists and I just LOVE hearing from great, repeat Guests like you! Please, do visit as often as you wish and we'll be ready and waiting to help you plan the most magical, Disney vacation ever!

I'm so glad to hear that you've already popped online to familiarize yourself with the layout of Disney's Polynesian Resort! You are correct in that the pathway doesn't actually run parallel alongside the beach as it does over in front of the Hawaii Longhouse. As you approach Sunset Point along the walking path, you'll see that the path will take a turn to the right to run in front of the end of the Tokelau Longhouse. After that, you'll want to cut across the grass to the beach again, or, follow the path through on the other side of Tahiti and enter the beach from the other end if you prefer.

If you wish, you could also disembark the monorail at the Transportation and Ticket Center stop and walk the Polynesian Walkway from that end. Once inside the Polynesian's gardens, a quick right followed by another right will take you past the end of Tahiti and onto the end of the beach, closest to the Ferryboat landing. That end of the beach is my personal little slice of heaven at Walt Disney World.

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World Mary!
