Hey there Bobbi,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for your question!
The Disneyland Resort is committed to providing a great experience for all Guests - including those with disabilities. There are a number of different resources that I would point out on the
Accessibility hub on the Disneyland Resort website - including details on
Sensory Experience Details,
Dietary Accommodations, and more.
One additional option that might be helpful to explore is the
Disability Access Service (DAS). This service is designed to support Guests who, due to a developmental disability like autism or similar disorder, are unable to wait in a conventional queue for an extended period of time. To see if your group might qualify, I would recommend registering to speak to a Cast Member before your visit, which you can do through the
Live Video Chat option on the DAS Registration page.
Additionally, I'm including one of our planDisney videos we did last year where we talked about the reimagining of
Mickey's Toontown. It has so many fun things for kids of all abilities to explore, is extremely accessible, and even has a nice quiet spot in the back corner if your group just needs a break to reset.
Thanks again for your question, Bobbi! I hope you have a wonderful time on your upcoming visit.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
