Hiya, Donna, and welcome to planDisney! It's so exciting that you've found us here at planDisney with this great question about starting the process of planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! My Panelist pals and I are here and always happy to help our fellow Guests, just like you!
Donna, you'll be happy to know that all of us here at planDisney are experts at planning (and enjoying) vacations at the Most Magical Place on Earth. If there are any specific details you're hoping to learn more about, we'd be thrilled to answer your questions! If you're hoping to find someone who can book your travel for you, I recommend reaching out to a trusted Travel Agent.
When it comes to planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, I like to start by choosing which
Disney Resorts Collection hotel I'll call "home" during my visit. Each is uniquely themed with intricate, immersive details that extend throughout the lobby, Guest rooms, pool areas, and dining locations. There are a variety of price ranges and room sizes to suit your needs.
You'll want to think about how many days you'd like to visit the
Disney Theme Parks. There are four parks, but I don't recommend visiting them all on consecutive days, so keep this in mind as you choose your
tickets. Building in a day or two to rest during your visit will make it feel like a true vacation. There's so much fun to be had outside of the parks, including at your Resort hotel, at
Disney Springs, the
Water Parks, and more!
As your vacation nears, you'll get to make selections for
dining and other special experiences. I like to plan to have a table service meal each day, to ensure my family has a dedicated time and place to relax and recharge. There are lots of amazing tours and activities you might enjoy in the
Enchanting Extras Collection.
In the week before your vacation, you can make
Lightning Lane selections and finalize your plans. If you've never visited the parks before, please send us another question so that we can help you understand and make the most out of your time there.
Donna, I hope this is helpful to you as you begin to plan your visit. Please stop by planDisney with any other questions you have!
See ya real soon!
