Hi Nicole!
It sounds like you are visiting
Walt Disney World during the holidays, which is in my opinion, the most wonderful time of the year to visit! I love to visit during the holidays because all four Disney theme parks, the Disney Resort hotels, and also Disney Springs put on their holiday best and celebrate in style!
The short answer to whether you can book a dinner reservation for a night in which you have access to a special event is yes! For special events, no park pass reservation is needed and all you need is an admission to your event. You may make your
Advanced Dining Reservations up to 60 days in advance, and I highly recommend making your reservations as soon as you have your plans confirmed.
Nicole, did you know that if you have a ticket to
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party that you may enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 pm on the day of the party? This party does not start until 7:00 pm, so arriving early is a great way to maximize your time in the park. In fact, I recommend having dinner prior to the start of the party so that you will have the rest of your evening left to enjoy the festivities. Similarly, the all-new
Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney's Hollywood Studios begins at 8:30 pm but Guests with tickets for this event are allowed entrance as early as 7:00 pm.
I wish you a fabulous and Magical vacation! As you continue making your plans, be sure to come back and visit us here at
planDisney with all of your vacation planning questions.
See Ya Real Soon,
Brenda
