How do I access hotel exchange through the DVC app?

    Hey Howdy Hey, Marisela!

Yeehaw! You must have heard that dinner bell because I am happy to offer you a warm Welcome Home. Thanks for moseying by planDisney with your question.  Marisela, one of the things I have loved most about being a Disney Vacation Club Member for over 22 years is the flexibility of creating the vacations of our dreams. With the opportunity to book at the wide range of Disney Vacation Club Resorts, as well as exchange our Vacation Points for stays at Disney Destinations around the world and even beyond, through the partnership with Interval International, there's no limit to how far we'll go!

Marisela, I am assuming you are inquiring about the Interval International Hotel Exchange. I will walk you through that first, but I will also mention how to find exchanges for Disney Destinations as well.  First, if you are interested in a Hotel Exchange with Interval International, you want to log into your Disney Vacation Club account on the Disney Vacation Club website.  Then follow these steps:
From here, you can manage your booking directly. But one thing to note is that if you take any steps with your Disney Vacation Points on this site, it can't be undone. So, I recommend perusing the available options and calling Member Services who can walk you through the process before booking anything. This way you will know what happens to your Vacation Points, how they will be used, and any cancellation policies.

If you would like to book a Disney Destination or a Disney Resort Hotel that is NOT in the Disney Vacation Club Resorts, go to the Disney Vacation Club website. Scroll to the "Destinations" tab and select "Disney Resort Hotels Near & Far."  If you click on this link, you can find the Vacation Points Charts for all of the Disney Destinations.  When you are ready to book, you can call Member Services who can check availability, change your Vacation Points to Reservation Points and make the booking for you. They will also discuss any cancellation policies or information you need to know.

Finally, if you are just looking to book another Disney Vacation Club Resort during the seven-month priority window or less, you can do that right within your Disney Vacation Club dashboard. You would simply log in to your account on the website, go to the "My DVC" tab, and click on "My Dashboard." You would be able to make your booking yourself right from here.

I hope this helps you, Marisela, and you are able to giddy up to the vacation of your dreams! If you have any further questions, trot back here to see us and we will be so happy to help you.

    Happy Trails!
