    Can you access downtown disney if you are staying in a resort outside of disney world?

    Hi Carolyn,

    Absolutely!  The Downtown Disney Area is a location that we visit on every vacation to Walt Disney World.  It is open to the public and there is no fee for parking.  There is a lot of great information on the Downtown Disney Area website which details all of the shopping, dining and entertainment options.
