Hi Lana!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. I'm happy to help.
Visiting
Disney Springs with mobility issues can be a smooth and enjoyable experience with just a bit of planning. My husband uses a wheelchair, so I am familiar with navigating Disney Springs with a mobility device!
First, let's talk about parking. Disney Springs has accessible parking spaces in all its garages and surface lots. The Lime and Orange garages are centrally located and have elevators that make it easy to reach the main areas. If using a ride-share service like Uber or Lyft, simply ask your driver to drop you off at the Lime Garage or the designated drop-off area near Town Center, near the ECV rental location. If you’re traveling to Disney Springs from a
Disney Resort hotel,
complimentary bus transportation is available, and all buses are wheelchair accessible.
Disney Springs offers
ECV and wheelchair rentals at Sundries at the Town Center bus loop, near the Lime Garage. Due to how large Disney Springs is, I always think It’s a good idea for those with
mobility challenges to rent an ECV or wheelchair to help navigate the area comfortably. While you can’t reserve ECVs or wheelchairs in advance at Disney Springs, arriving early can help ensure availability. I encourage you to visit
Guest Relations for any additional assistance with accessibility needs, including maps, information on accessible routes, and any special accommodations.
One of the best things about Disney Springs is the availability of accessible
restrooms throughout the property! My husband and I are always on the lookout for a Companion (Family) restroom, and there are plenty to choose from at Disney Springs. To locate accessible restrooms, simply look for signage or check the map for locations.
By planning ahead and utilizing Disney’s accessibility services, you can ensure a comfortable and enjoyable visit to Disney Springs.
Have a magical time!
