Hi Janice! A visit to Mickey and Minnie’s “Florida home” in September sounds like a great idea! Early fall is one of my favorite times to visit Disney World! The crowds have dwindled a bit from summertime, the heat is down (slightly), and Magic Kingdom is decorated for Halloween!
Knowing how to access your My Disney Experience is an important part of planning your magical vacation! The best way to set up and access your My Disney Experience account is on the
Disney World website. When you arrive at the site, look toward the top right corner of the screen. You should see the My Disney Experience logo located just under the “search.” Click on the logo and then log in to your account. If you don’t already have an account, click on the My Disney Experience logo and proceed with creating an account.
Janice, you can also download the
My Disney Experience app to your mobile device! This will be a great tool to have when planning your visit, and an even more important tool to have once you arrive at Disney World this September! You’ll be able to use the app on your mobile device to make dining reservations, show your tickets, purchase Lightning Lanes, make mobile food orders, enter your resort hotel room, and more!
Janice, here is a PRO TIP for you! I mentioned that Magic Kingdom will be decorated for Halloween during your September visit. That is because
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is held on select nights at Magic Kingdom during the fall! This event is a “must-visit” for my family! The party is held from 7:00 PM to (appropriately) midnight! However, Guests with tickets can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 PM! You’ll see favorite Disney characters wearing their Halloween costumes, Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade (my favorite), and special Halloween-themed fireworks! Guests can even dress in costumes and trick-or-treat through Magic Kingdom! Tickets for this spirited soiree are available to purchase on the Disney World website!
Dreams do come true!
