Hello again Stuart, and welcome back to planDisney.
It just makes my zip-a-dee-doo-dah-day when Guests return to planDisney with yet more great questions concerning their jolly holidays to the magic of Walt Disney World Resort!
Likewise, as an
international Guest visiting the United States of America, I too prefer not to carry my passport around with me during my holiday. I always like the knowledge that it's safely locked away with any other important travel documents, and spare currency within my in-room safe at my
Disney Resorts Collection hotel.Stuart, I'm more than happy to share that international
Guests wishing to purchase adult beverages at Walt Disney World Resort are often asked to prove they are aged 21-years and over by presenting their passport, plus a 2nd form government-issued ID such as a valid driver's license, or military ID. With that said, during my own holidays at Walt Disney World Resort, I've always carried my UK driving license on me as a primary form of ID. Plus, by utilising the camera and photo storage facilities on my mobile phone, I've taken a clear photo of my passport to show as a secondary form of ID if ever asked to provide one.
I hope that I've been able to offer a little reassurance and insight for you today Stuart. Please don't hesitate to pop back to
me here at planDisney if you should have any additional questions concerning your upcoming May holiday to the most magical place on earth.
Cheers, and have a great Disney day ~
Jane
