Hi Lisa!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so happy that you sailed by while you plan for your upcoming voyage at sea! Planning for an upcoming Disney Cruise Line adventure helps make the weeks leading up to our cruise fly by. Another fun way to count down the days is by downloading the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and setting up the countdown feature!
Dining aboard any Disney Cruise is one of my favorite things to do! For the most part,
Disney Cruise Line's dress code for dinner in the three Main Dining Restaurants is "cruise casual." This means that casual clothes such as shorts, t-shirts and jeans are permitted with the exception of swimwear and tank tops. I like to wear capris and a blouse or a summer dress to most dinners onboard. I find that the restaurants can be a little chilly; I recommend bringing a light sweater, too! Also, on most sailings, Guests can look forward to a Pirate-themed dinner on Pirate Night! It's always fun to pack your eye patch and pirate-y attire for that evening!
If you are planning to eat at one of the adult-exclusive restaurants onboard, Palo or Remy, they adhere to more formal dress code guidelines for brunch and dinner. If you've made a reservation at either of these delectable restaurants, definitely check those guidelines out prior to packing!
Lisa, the most important thing to remember is for you and your family to be comfortable! Dinners are so special onboard every Disney Cruise! I find that my family has made some of our favorite memories during dinner. I can't wait for you to step onboard in order to start making your memories, too!
