Hello there, Eva! Thanks for visiting planDisney with your question. Welcome!
As you prepare for your Disney Cruise, you will be invited to begin your Online Check-in 30 days before your sailing if you are a first-time guest of Disney Cruise Line. This is when you will upload photos or scans of your required
Travel Documents. When you arrive at the cruise port to check in to your cruise, you will be required to show your original passport and any other necessary documents. Please review the
Travel Documentation section of the Disney Cruise Line website for more details regarding visa requirements and citizenship documents for your specific sailing. If you have further questions about Travel Documentation, I encourage you to
call Disney Cruise Line.
To help prepare for your sailing, I recommend that you download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. While you are onboard the ship, you'll be able to access the Daily Activity Schedule, your dining rotation, restaurant menus, deck plans, and more. It's an invaluable tool to reference during your sailing.
One of my favorite in-app features is the ability to book a placeholder for a future cruise vacation. While you are on the ship, you'll have the opportunity to reserve a placeholder to sail again within 24 months while enjoying a special discount for most stateroom categories. The placeholder is completely refundable. I always book one because I never want to pass on the opportunity to sail with Mickey and the gang... especially at a discount!
Have a wonderful voyage! Please cruise back to us at planDisney if you have further questions. My pals and I are here and happy to help.
Bon Voyage,
Adrianna
