We (2A2C) are planning to do Flight Of Passage at rope drop during extra magic hours (8am) but need to use rider switch. Please can you advise how rider switch will work on FOP at this time? Will we have to wait an hour before the 2nd adult can ride? Thnx

Kaltxi, Paula, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You're in for such a treat when you visit the Valley of Mo'ara in Pandora - The World of Avatar at Disney's Animal Kingdom. I travel to Walt Disney World a lot, and I can definitely say that Avatar Flight of Passage is one of my favorite attractions at the moment. I'm also happy to tell you that Rider Switch is available for that attraction, so no one in your family has to miss out of the incredible Na'vi right of passage of riding on the back of a banshee.

To participate in the service, go up to the attraction podium with your entire party and let the Cast Member know that you'd like to ride Avatar Flight of Passage and you need to use Rider Switch. You'll be issued a Rider Switch entitlement and one of the adults can then wait in the queue and ride while another stays back with the little ones. When the first rider is finished their adventure, the second adult can ride without having to wait in the standby queue. Since the Rider Switch entitlement is good for up to three guests, if you have a Mouseketeer in your party who is tall enough to ride, they can experience the attraction twice if they want!

Be sure to also check out Na'vi River Journey while you're there. There's no height requirement so the whole family take a ride deep into the bioluminescent rainforest together!

    Enjoy your banshee flight, Paula.
