Hello Salena,
Welcome to planDisney! You must be so excited to experience the magic of Walt Disney World Resort through the eyes of your little one—there’s nothing like it. Dining at
The Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh and friends will be terrrrrrrific (as Tigger would say)! Plus, capturing a special photo of your baby in front of Cinderella Castle will be a magical keepsake.
Without knowing the exact date of your visit, I can’t say for sure when you’ll be able to enter Magic Kingdom Park. However, if you visit the
Hours & Events Calendar on the Walt Disney World website, select the date of your reservation, and click on Magic Kingdom, you’ll see the general park hours as well as Early Entry hours for Guests staying at hotels.
Magic Kingdom’s Early Entry works slightly differently than the other parks. My pal
Nimmy put it much more eloquently than I ever could. Still, we both have experienced something similar: Guests are typically allowed to enter 30 – 45 minutes before Early Entry to browse Main Street, U.S.A., and take photos in front of Cinderellas Castle. While this isn’t a guarantee, it may be worth the early morning, just in case.
Let’s use Wednesday, March 5, 2025, as an example. Magic Kingdom Park is scheduled to open at 9:00 a.m., with Early Theme Park Entry beginning at 8:30 a.m. for Disney Resort Guests. Since Guests could enter Main Street U.S.A. even earlier, I recommend arriving at the park entrance by 7:30 a.m. With a little luck, you might be allowed in early enough to capture that perfect photo with minimal crowds.
For an even more magical photo experience, consider booking a
Capture Your Moment session, part of the
Enchanting Extras Collection. This 20-minute private photo session with a Disney PhotoPass photographer is perfect for capturing unforgettable memories in front of Cinderella Castle and other iconic locations around the park. It’s an excellent way to ensure you have high-quality photos of your little one’s first Disney adventure.
Before I go, I want to mention the
Baby Care Centers in each theme park. My fellow panelist,
Jennifer S., and I recently toured all of these centers and were amazed by how convenient and accommodating they are. You’ll find changing tables, nursing rooms, feeding areas with highchairs, and even a small selection of baby essentials like diapers, wipes, and formula. Check out the attached video for a closer look at these helpful facilities.
I hope this helps answer your question, Salena! If you have any more questions as your trip approaches, come back and
send me another question.
TTFN,
Brent
