We will be aboard Disney Dream on July 2011, right in the middle of hurricane season. Are the cruises canceled if there is a storm? Will we be notify if any cancellation 'cause of these matter? Will we be able to change sailing dates if this happens?

    Hi, Ingrid!

Congratulations on your upcoming cruise aboard the Disney Dream -- she is a such a magnificent ship that you may think you're living a dream when you sail!

Because of the technology on board each Disney ship and the expert navigation skills and experience of the Disney Cruise Line (DCL) crew, any weather issues are taken under consideration and actions taken well before you and I are aware of a potential storm. You can rest assured knowing that the safety of guests and crew members is DCL's top priority. In the event of an emergency (such as a tropical storm), Disney Cruise Line will post information on the DisneyCruise.com site, including any potential changes to cruise itineraries that may occur as a result of such an occurrence.

I have cruised with DCL in July, and although it was quite warm, we had smooth sailing for our adventure.  I hope your vacation is blessed with great weather, too. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
