Welcome to planDisney Carolyn! Thanks for stopping by to ask us the best way to plan a trip. A budget is a very important part of any vacation. I can help you with some options to help make your visit as manageable as possible.
Whenever a visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort is up for discussion I always start at the
Vacation Planning Page. It is a valuable resource when trying to build the best options for your visit. June is a great time to visit, summer vacation at Walt Disney World is one of the greatest parts of my childhood. The
Disney Park Pass Reservation System is currently the only way to ensure your entry to the park of your choice. You can check the
Disney Park Pass Availability Calendar before you purchase your tickets. You will want to make sure you make your reservations as soon as you have the chance.
My favorite value resort is a tie between
Disney's Art of Animation Resort which has arguably the best pool on Disney property.
The Big Blue Pool is a large zero-entry pool themed and inspired by characters from "Finding Nemo." The other value resort that is neck and neck is
Disney's Pop Century Resort which features a quick ride to both
EPCOT and
Disney's Hollywood Studios aboard the
Disney Skyliner. The good news is both of those resorts currently offer free parking at your resort and any parks you visit while you are staying at any of the
Disney Resort Collection Hotels. So no need to worry about additional costs there.
Dining while at Disney is one of my favorite parts of any visit. If you are visiting while one of the festivals is happening, which you are. The
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival runs through July 5, 2023. A great way to budget is using a
Disney Gift Card. We start by adding the specific amount we planned on using for food onto the card and each time you use it your receipt will show the balance after each purchase. This way you can keep track and never go over budget. June is approaching quickly, so if you haven't already
called Walt Disney World I would call just to at least get an idea of what's needed to visit "The Most Magical Place on Earth."
I hope this information gives you a game plan to visit the parks during this coming summer season. Please don't hesitate to visit us again at

Have a magical day,
Jeremy A.
